01

Pick a Player

Each player picks a card from the roster of 40. Cards are color-coded by preferred surface — clay, grass, or hard. Every grid reflects the full player: serve, return, consistency, aggression. Djokovic outlasts. Bublik explodes. Paolini never misses.

02

Roll Simultaneously

Both players roll two dice at the same time — red die for column, blue die for row. Find your cell: Green, White, or Red. Green beats White and Red. White beats Red. Tie goes to the server. That's one game.

03

Switch and Repeat

Switch server and roll again. First to six games wins the set — lead by two. At 6–6, one tiebreak roll each. Same rules. Server wins ties. Best of three sets wins the match.

04

Play the Surface

Pick your surface before the match. Clay specialists start every set 1–0 on their home dirt. Grass and hard court specialists get the same on theirs. If both players share the same surface, the bonus cancels out. Pick the matchup carefully.

The grids don't lie.

Every card in Grid Tennis is built from real match data — win rates, surface results, playing style. The grid reflects the full player, not just their serve. Świątek's card looks like a machine. Ostapenko's looks like a coin flip. Both are accurate.

Available in Men's (ATP Top 40) and Women's (WTA Top 40) editions, ranked by the May 2026 standings. Run a single match in five minutes or bracket out a full tournament on paper.

The notebook ships to your door. Two dice — one red, one blue — are all you add.
